This is the front cover of a Blink 182 Cd called "take off your pants and jacket" the colours used are mostly black with the three circles (red, yellow and green" this resembles a traffic light and includes the pictures of a plane, pants and jacket which relates back to the albums name "take off your pants and jacket" the plane standing for 'take off' and the image of the pants and jacket standing for the pants and jacket. The front cover is conventional as it includes the bands name which is typical on a cd cover. It also includes a parental advisory label which is usually found on this genre of music cds.
The inside of the CD there are 13 circles (again using the red, yellow and green which is also featured on the front, using continuity throughout) the circles all feature an image which relates to the songs on the album. For example.
Number 4 is an image of a Christmas stocking with a beer in and stands for track 4 which the song is titled "happy holidays you b*****d"
Number 12 is an image of a face with tape over the mouth and track 12 is titled "shut up"
this is a fun feature for a CD pack which relates back to the genre of pop punk which is conventionally a fun type of music and always feature the idea of fun in their different media platforms.
The back cover of the CD is white and features long shot image of the band members of blink 182 and again the colours of red, green and yellow are continuing throughout the cd cover. Instead of listing the tracks in list the songs on this cd are listed in a row, which typical cd covers are listed downward. Looking as this CD has helped as researched into my own CD cover because this is the same genre as what i am creating therefore i can get a conventional idea for my product.
